My goal as a yoga teacher is to inspire kindness, compassion and gratitude towards others, and most importantly towards ones self.

I truly believe that your yoga practice serves as the foundation for your relationship with yourself and your body. The mat becomes a space for cultivating trust, care, compassion, and gratitude. For this reason, I don’t practice or teach “goal-oriented” yoga. It’s not about achieving the perfect headstand or mastering a still tree pose; it’s about embracing wellness, functional movement, and, above all, being present.

In my classes, you can expect a lighthearted approach to the poses, plenty of breathwork, and a gentle attitude towards the body. While I may bring a bit of energy to my vinyasa sessions, I always weave in moments of breath, meditation, and maybe a few off-key OMs (just kidding!).

When I’m not on the mat, I love spending time outdoors with my family. You might find me hiking, skiing, or snowboarding at the local mountains, riding my bike, or embarking on wilderness adventures. I live in Port Coquitlam with my husband, our two kids, and our spirited Aussie doodle, Mona.

As the co-owner and founder of Yoga Generation, I have trained in multiple disciplines, including Hatha, Yin, Aerial, Prenatal, Postnatal, and Yoga Nidra. With 500 hours of teaching experience, I am passionate about sharing the transformative power of yoga, and have been teaching since 2011.
