Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with life and it’s many stresses? In this workshop we will explore meditation for the present day person. Meditation is an excellent tool to manage a busy lifestyle and gives us the freedom to slow down, leading us to a life where we can be fully present.
The benefits of a regular meditation practice include but are not limited to, heightened awareness, increased focus and concentration, lowered heart rate, a deeper connection to one’s self and others, relaxation, and a widespread feeling of tranquility and happiness that comes from within.
Meditation in todays modern world can be very different from one person to another. Over the four weeks we will explore a few different styles of meditation and pranayama (breath work). This will be a practical guide providing you with the tools to incorporate meditation into your daily life. The class will be a combination of meditation and discussion with a little sprinkle of movement.
Meditation is a significant piece of a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
