I am a 500 hr Yoga Alliance teacher, and also an Ayurvedic yoga teacher. I took my initial training at Kushala Yoga, studied Ayurveda with Melanie Phillips (The Madhuri Method) in Vancouver, and completed my 300 hr training in South India with Santhi Yoga International. I began doing yoga simply to crosstrain with other activities. I was hooked. Yoga brought a new ease to everything else I was doing. It became the main focus.
I have a passion for fitness and holistic wellness, and this has brought to me a deep sense of satisfaction through the combination of Yoga, Ayurveda, Reiki, and meditation. I like to blend movement with breath. I like to create easy to follow classes around the needs of my students.
When I’m not in the yoga studio, I can be found on the trails hiking or snowshoeing, often with my energetic dog Devon. I’ve been introduced to sailing recently, and plan on doing more. I love international travel and embracing new cultures.
