Hwi Jung “Jada” McCollum
As a dancer, I started to feel pain in my body, which is when I found Yoga. Once my personal journey with Yoga began, it became something that I wanted to share with others.
I began practicing Yoga in 2004, although at that time I wasn’t particularly passionate about it because I was focusing most of my energy and attention towards being on the stage as a contemporary dancer, as well as teaching dance.
It was when I started to feel pain in my body that I turned seriously to Yoga for healing. My personal journey with Yoga began from that time forward, and it became something that I wanted to share with others.
Now, my classes are best described as a balance between strength and softness, sometimes challenging but adventurous, while building a connection with your body as it undergoes a process of change.
Jada is a certified Aerial Yoga teacher, and and RYT 200hr teacher.
