As a Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist, Yoga teacher and Pilates teacher, my goal is to inspire, educate and empower you to improve your health and sense of well being through mindful movement.
I graduated with my Masters in Physiotherapy from UBC in 2008. I am also a certified STOTT Pilates rehabilitation instructor, as well as a 200hr Vinyasa Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I have always been interested in Eastern Medicine and philosophies and have a very holistic approach to healing, which lead me to become a certified acupuncturist in 2010.
I have found that integrating yoga and Pilates into my physiotherapy practice has proved to be very beneficial to my clients. It has helped them restore function and empowered them to take an active approach towards their own rehabilitation and maintenance of health.
I am very excited to offer a similar style of therapy in a class setting that incorporates my physiotherapy experience and yoga/Pilates rehabilitation knowledge.
My goal is to inspire, educate and empower you to improve your health and sense of well being through mindful movement. Just as our physical body has asymmetries so does our mind and by increasing our awareness of these imbalances we can heal both the mind and body by changing them from within.
Of the mat, you can find me enjoying the outdoors…travelling, biking, paddle boarding, sailing and on the trails with my dogs.
