BistraYoga

I encourage my students to be present not only on the mat but also in their life journey. Because when we miss out on the little moments of daily happiness, we miss out on life itself.

My first encounter with yoga was more than 14 years ago at the college gym in Santa Monica, California. I immediately discovered the calming benefits for the mind and fell in love with the slow and precise movements and the emphasis on the proper alignment. My visits to the studio afterwards and the numerous workshops I attend opened my curiosity to dive deeper into the ancient teachings of yoga. This motivated me to complete my teacher training program in 2013. Since then I continue to learn from on-going trainings and workshops, from my students and from my daughter, Brooke, which has expired me to do my Kids Yoga Training this year.

I teach yoga because it brings happiness and balance to my life and I want to share this with others. I encourage my students to be present not only on the mat but also in their life journey. This includes having fun, and finding satisfaction and joy in the little things that life offers us daily and not to miss out on the moments in expectation of something bigger and better. Because when we miss out on the little moments of daily happiness, we miss out on life itself.
